What is the Outstanding Tiny Desk trend?
Last updated:
The Outstanding Tiny Desk clip is a short vertical dance video that turned into a template: people re-create the same routine, beat for beat, and post their own version.
Why it caught on
The routine is short, the timing is easy to recognise and the camera work is simple enough that the performer is always the focus. That makes every new version feel like a fresh take on the same joke.
How people join in
Some learn the steps and film themselves. Others use AI to place themselves in the original clip, which keeps the exact timing and camera moves without filming anything.
Do it with AI
With Tiny Desk AI you upload your photo, select quality, and receive a vertical video in which you perform in the concert band. Share it straight away.
